Features
  • night blindness is often the initial sign
  • funnel vision (the preferred term for tunnel vision)

Associated diseases
  • Refsum disease: cerebellar ataxia, peripheral neuropathy, deafness, ichthyosis
  • Usher syndrome
  • abetalipoproteinemia
  • Lawrence-Moon-Biedl syndrome
  • Kearns-Sayre syndrome
  • Alport's syndrome
